Two Titans, One Cigar

The Enclave by Eladio Diaz represents one of the most significant collaborations in the cigar industry. AJ Fernandez—Nicaragua’s most prolific cigar maker—partnered with Eladio Diaz, who spent over 40 years as master blender and head of production at Davidoff of Geneva. After departing Davidoff in 2021, Diaz opened his own factory, Tabacalera Diaz-Cabrera, in the Dominican Republic. This cigar is the first and only Enclave produced outside of Nicaragua, bringing together two distinct blending philosophies in a single, harmonious smoke.

What makes the Enclave by Eladio Diaz truly unique is the complete absence of Nicaraguan tobacco—a first for any AJ Fernandez release. The blend features 100% Dominican long-fillers from Diaz’s carefully curated inventory, held in an Ecuadorian binder and dressed in a light brown, caramel-hued Corojo ’99 wrapper from Ecuador. The result is a cigar that blends AJ’s vision for the Enclave brand with Eladio’s refined Dominican sensibility. Every cigar is handcrafted at Diaz’s factory in the Dominican Republic.
