The Enclave Broadleaf Toro is handcrafted at AJ Fernandez’s Tabacalera Fernandez factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The dark, oily U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper is thick and toothy, delivering a booster shot of body and spice to the already rich Nicaraguan core. Beneath the wrapper, select Nicaraguan long-fillers from AJ’s farms in Estelí, Jalapa, and Pueblo Nuevo are bound with a Nicaraguan binder to create a savory, full-flavored blend.

The Blend and Flavor

This full-bodied cigar opens with an immediate wave of black pepper and earth that commands the palate. As the pepper settles, dark chocolate and cedar emerge, joined by leather and warm baking spice. The retrohale is pronounced and peppery, with floral undertones that add an unexpected elegance.
