It is the dark-wrapped counterpart to the legendary Perdomo Champagne line and was previously known as the Champagne Noir. This is a Nicaraguan puro, meaning the Cuban-seed tobaccos are harvested entirely from the Perdomos’ renowned fields throughout the country. Every component, filler, binder, and the dark Maduro wrapper, is aged for a minimum of six years. The oily Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper then spends an additional 14 months maturing in spent bourbon barrels to draw out its natural sweetness, and Nick Perdomo Jr. re-blended this cigar from the ground up to make sure the wrapper leaf was properly supported.
